The Itinerary - Your Tanzanian Adventure
Day 1 - Leave Hotel Springlands for Lake Manyara
After breakfast at the Springlands hotel in Moshi you will be picked up by your guide in your private safari truck and begin the drive to Lake Manyara National Park, the drive is around 3 hours and on the way you will experience the sights and sounds of Tanzania. After lunch at Lake Manyara we will start the late afternoon game drive, this is the best time to see the animals as they tend to hide away from the mid-day sun. As you begin the drive you will see the monkeys leaping in the trees and within the park you will see elephants, zebras, impalas, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and many birds. After your safari you will drive to the Highview hotel where you can relax and enjoy the facilities.
Day 2 - Leave Hotel Highview for Ngorongoro return to Hotel Springlands
After breakfast you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the crater is actually an extinct volcano caldera which is home to many of Africa exotic animals. The rim of the crater is approximately 2,500 meters high and offers an amazing photo opportunity. Ngorongoro is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as prides of lion that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colourful flamingos, leopard, cheetah, hyena and warthogs! After lunch we will drive back to the Springlands and depending on time we may stop off at the Maasai village to meet the Maasai people and experience their way of life then arrive back at Springlands.
Day 3 - Depart Tanzania
The trip is over but the memories will last a lifetime. One of our team will transfer you back to Kilimanjaro International Airport from Springlands Hotel.
