K2 Base Camp is an epic 20 day adventure that promises a thrilling challenge to trekkers looking to take it on!

This trip in Pakistan is an epic journey to the heart of the Karakoram. Whether you’re a seasoned trekker or a first-timer, your kit is super important! And guess what, you don't have to buy it all brand new!

To help you prepare for this trip, we understand that there will be some items that you may not use on a regular basis and maybe you’d prefer to hire these rather than buy new. We’ve collated a list of items that are available to rent locally in Skardu:

• Sleeping Mat ($15)
• Crampons ($30)
• Helmet ($15)
• Walking Poles ($15)
• Sling ($15)
• Jamar/Ascender ($30)
• Carabiner/Karabiner ($15)
• Harness ($20)

The cost of these items are for the duration of use on your trek and are all of the quality that you will need for your K2 Base Camp adventure.

To reserve an item, simply send the EverTrek Yetis an email or give us a call and we’ll make a note of your requests. Then you will simply collect & pay for the item(s) when you’re in Skardu - it’s nice and easy!

There are no card facilities in Skardu, but you can pay for your items in a variety of currencies including; PKR, GBP, EURO and USD.
