Day 1 - Drive to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will leave the Springlands Hotel in Moshi and depart with your safari guide for Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is actually an extinct volcano caldera which is home to many of Africa's exotic animals. The rim of the crater is approximately 2,500 meters high and offers an amazing photo opportunity. Ngorongoro is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as prides of lions that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingos, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and warthogs so keep your eyes peeled for Pumba! After lunch, we will drive to the Ngorongoro Wild Camp.

Day 2 - Drive to Serengeti National Park

This morning you will leave the crater and drive to the Serengeti National Park. The drive itself is something to enjoy with stunning landscapes always changing on your way to the Serengeti. The drive will take around 3 to 4 hours, and you will arrive via the Olduvai Gorge, which is an archaeological site located in the eastern Serengeti plains, in which early human fossils were first discovered. It has an amazing landscape that resulted from the same tectonic forces that created the Great Rift Valley millions of years ago. Then in the late evening, you will drive to your overnight spot, the Serengeti Wild Camp.

Day 3 - Full day in Serengeti National Park and return to Wild Camp

After breakfast, you will venture into the Serengeti’s wilderness corners for a full day of game viewing in the park. With a picnic lunch provided, you can take your time while exploring this world heritage site, where earth’s largest concentration of game animals still roam free! In the late evening, you will go to the Serengeti Wild Camp overnight.

Day 4 - Depart Serengeti and return to Springlands Hotel in Moshi

Departing the wild camp after breakfast, you will start the drive back to the Springlands Hotel in Moshi, and depending on time, we may stop off at the Maasai village to meet the Maasai people and experience their way of life and their history.

Day 5 - Depart Tanzania

The trip is over, but the memories will last a lifetime. One of our team will transfer you back to Kilimanjaro International Airport from Springlands Hotel.
